This site is run by Chad Richardson, based in Ontario, Canada. Here's what information the site collects, why, and what happens with it. The short version: I collect only what you choose to give me, I use it for exactly what you'd expect, and I don't sell it to anyone.
When you use the contact form: your name, email address, and message. I use these to reply to you. That's the whole story.
When you sign up for a tool or the newsletter: your email address (name optional), and a record of which tool you requested. I use these to deliver the tool, send the occasional related follow-up, and share updates I think are worth your time. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works immediately.
Automatically: this site keeps things minimal. It's served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data (like IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. I don't run advertising trackers, and I don't sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.
Email addresses and signup records are managed through my email service provider, which stores and processes them on my behalf. Messages sent through the contact form come to me directly. Service providers I use may store data outside Canada (commonly in the United States), which means it can be subject to the laws of those places.
Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link in any message. If you'd like your information corrected or deleted, or you'd like to know what I have (it won't take long to check), contact me through the site or reply to any email and I'll take care of it.
By submitting a form on this site, you're consenting to the collection and use described here. Email signups use a confirmation step, so nobody ends up on the list by accident.
If this policy changes meaningfully, the date above changes with it, and significant changes get a mention in the newsletter.
